Whacky, funky, disco, madness.
I bumped in to this Duo on another blog. It has funky ass synths and beats with some very weird vocals. I think this track is about a cross dresser or something…. the album art kinda sums it up:

It is a very unique sound to say the least. Give the tune about a minute to kick in before you close the preview:

This is a very hot tune. Chilled out, but funky as all hell. This will be in a mix very shortly for sure.

Hell yes! I have always been a big fan of Q Tip, ever since I first heard his smooth flow with A Tribe Called Quest. Q Tip (Kamal Fareed), produces some of the best chill and funky hip hop jams around. In a industry fuled by bling, bitches, and hate: Q Tip remains fresh, respectful, and FUNKY!
Every track on the album was produced by Q Tip except for track 8 “Move”, that one was put together by J Dilla. This is the first hot single off the Album, Gettin’ Up:

This is the first track on the album, “Johnny Is Dead”. This is a smooth jam, silky rhymes, and a nice soulful hook… although im not sure who sings the hook. Anyone know?

This is a bad ass track that caught my ear drums in a Rhpsody commercial. Some google searching revealed this was the Band called Kraak and Smaak. 3 Dutch guys from Leiden that have got some realy funky sounds. I immediately purchased their latest album Plastic People on itunes. In short, the whole album is off the chain. Everyone should pick up the album or better yet, if they are playing in your area check them out. Next time they are somewhere in the New England area I will be there for sure!
